Young Money was established by Ammar Issa in September 2019, following a successful career in building businesses in the fashion and beauty industry.

Young Money invests in high growth businesses in Australia, New Zealand, USA and the UK. We seek to partner with business owners and management teams to accelerate growth and lead to exit within a 5-year time frame. Our expertise is combining new tech innovative companies as well as traditional bricks and mortar businesses and accelerating growth through our current team of 174 marketers.

Young Money Private Equity was established to fill a large hole in the current private equity market – growth funding needed for solid and capable private businesses in the sub $50m space. As the Australian private equity industry has gravitated to larger deals and bigger funds over the past 12 years, only a handful of experienced equity providers are investing in the fashion and beauty social media space.

While the venture capital industry focusses on start-ups and early stage businesses, Young Money Private Equity seeks to invest in quality growth businesses that are already established with a proven business model and up to $8m of EBITDA. Partnering with private businesses and capable management teams, Young Money looks for opportunities to accelerate growth through a combination of financial and intellectual capital, and to position a business for optimal exit via sale or IPO within a 5 year investment period.

Ammar has held Board Directorships on a variety of companies across multiple industries including retail, media, manufacturing, industrial and distribution.
